DEE WHY

This dated mid-century brick house was given a complete renovation, transforming it into a modern split-level masterpiece. This project involved excavation to accommodate an enviably large two car garage with additional storage, installation of a custom kitchen featuring a butler’s pantry, four light-filled bedrooms, bathroom, ensuite and laundry, featuring custom oak joinery. The home boasts generous living spaces, bathed in natural light with polished concrete flooring. This is further complimented by a designer gas fireplace and expansive raked ceilings, spilling out onto a large alfresco deck area complete with landscaped gardens and pool. External finishes include custom Shiplap vertical cladding to the first floor and sandstone capping to the ground floor level.

Keegan and the team at Blucore completed a 14 month redevelopment for us in 2018. We had used Blucore on our previous house and knew they were the right fit for this project. Clear, honest communication is critical to the success of a project of our size, knowing where we were with the timing and budget throughout the project was something that was important to us. Keegan would provide us with status updates in a way that suited us and would make himself available for meetings weekly when required.
Fierce attention was a must for us, we had very specific ideas of how we wanted things to look and Keegan managed to be more fixated on the finer details than we were! No shortcuts or deviations (unless agreed) from the architect’s plans and vision. The whole team worked seamlessly with the architect and delivered a quality of work that exceeded our expectations right on budget. We get nothing but compliments on the workmanship and final product which is a testament to the meticulous work of the Blucore team.
It would be very hard for us to use another company after such a positive experience with Keegan and his team.
