Bendalong

Quaint Coastal Cottage

Architect ~ Jane Davie Architect

What began as an internal renovation, soon turned into a knock down and rebuild of this quaint Bendalong cottage due to extensive termite damage and wet rot.

The cottage was rebuilt to tie into existing decks and outdoor spaces. Featuring Fuji CharClad timber, anodised windows and beautiful blackbutt timber doors, the new cottage settles effortlessly into its surroundings, just as the owners had hoped.

“Keegan and his fabulous team recently completed our gorgeous new beach house on the South Coast with 2 bedrooms, kitchen/living room & 3 bathrooms as well as refurbishing the carport & building new external pergolas, gates and screens.

What started out as a renovation to an existing timber cottage turned into a complete rebuild due to unforeseen structural issues. Keegan took this all onboard with patience and professionalism and has executed the project with the utmost care and attention to detail. Whilst a simple house, Keegan’s ability to contribute positively and help think through details has made the project of a calibre so far above the norm.

He and the team have delivered an exceptional result in very difficult times with COVID and supply chain issues. As an architect I have found Keegan easy to work and communicate with and he is amongst the best of builders I have had the opportunity to work with.

We are thrilled with the final outcome.”
